when I got the game it took a good while to install that mandatory install on my Ps3. eeeeesh
I don't know what it is with the PS3 but it sure is slow when it comes to installing things. Even an old "emachines" computer from 1999 can install games faster than the PS3, it installed EQ faster then the PS3 installed Dishonored o.O

The speed f the standard PS3 hard drives is super slow 5200RPM max (might even be 4800) and they are cheap drives I used one for a test install of Winows 8 and after it finally installed it took ages to boot up to desktop and to install updates.

Its impressive how all the recent multiplats are so close to parity compared to the horror shows at the start of this gen. UE3 is truly a great engine
