Ragnarok Odyssey drops onto Vita October 30th

Ragnarok Odyssey hits the Vita on October 30 in the US, running $40 for the standard version, via retail or download. The Mercenary Edition, which includes a pack of 10 random Monster Cards, the soundtrack and a 96-page Mercenary Guide, slides in at $50.

Ragnarok Odyssey came out in Japan in February and has sold more than 100,000 units online and at retail there. Yeah, that's a lot of monsters.

I think this time is official and sure it was release this coming October 30 and its worth waiting for now why don't you download first SHBM and Dokuro it will be out this coming 16 so its very near.

actually kind of been waiting for this game for a while, pretty excited. ill definately pick it up, but its going to have to sit on the back burner, since im also picking up Assassins Creed 3, and Liberation, which i still have to figure out which one of them i should play first!

I went to Amazon to pre order it, but as I'm in France, I'd pay 50 € for the game + 20 € for shipping for 11.5 € for customs ... I'll wait for an European release ... if ever

Got this game and spent last night playing it with a friend of mine.

It sucks.

The game is a mixture of Monster Hunter, plus Phantasy Star, plus Gods Eater Burst, plus Lord Arcana. The result is a patched up work that has zero originality. The card system is boring and isn't as immerse as they want it to be. There is no armory in the game. You just purchase an outfit that fits your taste and "expand" its slots capacity to insert in them cards that increase your stats. So, you can basically stick to one armor and expand it until the end of the game. There's no hand, feet or leg gear in the game. And the headgears do nothing, literally. They're there for aesthetic purposes only.

What a waste of 53 bucks.

Yes. I'm going to trade it with something else.
I've decided that I will trade it either with Harvest Moon: ANB, or Professor Layton: TMM or Okami HD.

I guess I'm going to wait for this on EUR while waiting for new version of MH on Vita. Even though lots of negative feedback Ragnarok Online is my first MMORPG that I've played. And this one has reminded me of the nostalgia 10 years ago. I miss crashing those monsters and that cute poring

You can try the demo on the PlayStation Store. I gave it a whirl the other night and just wasn't at all that impressed. Then again, I've never played any Monster Hunter-esque games. They seem to be a dime a dozen on the Vita (for Japanese audiences).
