Bought the Mass Effect Trilogy yesterday.

I'm about 10 hours into Mass Effect (1). I just landed on the first planet. Dude, this game is enormous and so far: boring as hell. I just spent 10 hours doing sidequests. Lame. But on the other hand: It's sick how much dialouge was recorded and how much work went into the game. I just hope that the game steps the intensity up in the next two hours.

I mean Mass Effect MUST be great. ME3 is nominated for GOTY, just like AC3 which is a great game.


Is all that side-story stuff necessary to understand the full trilogy? Or did they just overkill it in ME1? So far, I have to say it was more boring than exciting. But I'll keep playing... Maybe I should've picked up Far Cry 3 instead of the trilogy... but then again it's 60 Euros for one game, or 70 Euros for three games.

Playing Far Cry 3 (PS3) awesome game, KZ trilogy, AC3 (PS3), and just got through playing one of the ME3 expansions (PS3). Then I still have to get back to playing Dragonborn on 360.

I finally got my hands on Folklore for a good price, and damn it's really cool. 3.5 hours in and I intend on finishing it hopefully before Christmas.

Only negative thing I have to say is sometimes the motion controls are annoying - mainly for boss battles. But it's a great game, really unique

I think you will really like ZombiU. The first hour or so is hard, but once you get the controls down and understand how important it is to NOT DIE!, you will find it extremely enjoyable.

I am on my 2nd play through in GA. Trying to get all those other trophies I missed.
