Depends what stage you're at but yeah it generally does. There's this killer DLC called petrol, but you need it to stay in the game for the most part.

Nearly done with RE6, and I've been playing DOA5 off and on since the 25th. I am somewhat disappointed in the lack of singleplayer content for that game though. I have a few gripes with it. Not sure if I want to trade it in towards TTT2.
