I would just look at the exclusive catalog of games on offer for each console and the choice would be easy for me. Throw in the multiplats and the Blu-ray player and it's a given.

PS3 all day.

To use an analogy what good is having 200 channels if only 6 are worth watching? I dont care for the majority of Sonys exclusives so list wars dont impress me. I wont even get into Sony's piss poor exclusive lineup for xmas 2012.

To be fair there is only a few minor differences between the 2 console's quality in terms of games. The gap is getting smaller and smaller these days. So it does not really matter anymore about game quality

NO, hes making a factual point, because some member will tell you the Ps3 has more exclusives.

Frankly I only play games I like, I don't care if they are exclusive or not. That was kinda my point.

To suggest that you have "more exclusive" therefore is a the better console to buy,is a rather limiting factor.

Playstation has way more exclusives than the xbox and have sold way more units. If that´s the most important thing for someone he should go with sony.

I think all of us only play games we like don´t you think ? Multiplats are a huge part of every gamers catalog but exclusives can be a factor when you make your chocie. I bought playstation for a number of sonys exclusives and I bought a 360 just for Forza.

I even had a wii for awhile but it was fun for about a week and then it just got forgotten... :P

Discussing value for money is pretty pointless because it´s very induvidual. For me, I got value for my money with my 360 even if I only bought it for one game. 360 have very few exlusives that I like but it´s enough to give me value for money.

Shame Halo isnt on PC apart from the first 2
I never bought Halo 2 because at the time it only worked on Vista and I didn't want to upgrade just to play 1 game.

Halo is one of the few shooters that isnt realistic all the others popular ones are based on realism.

The 360 has Halo, Gears, Fable, and Forza. Not exactly attractive to a new gamer. What's left after you play those? Yearly sequels and multiplat titles that you can play on the PS3. That's it.

The PS3 has Uncharted, Infamous, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, LittleBigPlanet, Motorstorm, Resistance and the list just goes on and on. The PS3 has more variety. It has all the basses covered. The 360 simply does not.

For every 360 game you can find two PS3 games in the same genre that are exclusive and better quality due to the developers building them from the ground up.

So yeah, if you're a diehard Halo or Gears fan you're going to prefer the 360. I'm a gamer though, i enjoy all types of games and the 360 as my main console just doesn't cut it. I strive for better.
