Rating MW3 vs. Black ops

I'm curious to see how everyone stacks these games up versus each other. What rating (out of 10) would you give MW3 and Black ops?

Well it's COD...so it's meh. But if I had to choose from what I have played of the two, Black Ops blew MW3 out of the water. In terms of story and gameplay. MW3 was nothing compared to COD4 and MW2. The series is stale. Expecting Black Ops 2 to breath some life into the series.

Pretty consistent so far, except for a few. I would give MW3 probably like a 7.5/10, and to be honest I have never really played the BO series online, but after reading these posts I think I'll give it try. I own it, it came with my ps3, I just never really played it. Thanks for the feedback. Anyone else?

I find more satisfaction in MW3 because I just do better because of the increase in assault streaks. While I like Black Ops more just for the general feel of the game, the guns and such.

MW3 9.5/10 my reason the multiplayer is awesome nice big range of guns,, campaign has the best story line, survival is 10X better then zombies because zombie not real,, bad points after 10 prestige the emblems look the same and they are boring

Black ops 5/10 my reason the multiplayer is shit because it take more bullets to kill i no that because from playing MW2 then go on black ops i no it take longer to kill, campaign i dont really like it got bord really quick did get close to getting half of it complete, zombie is ok but i like to fight enemys with guns ,,good points are the custom sights and spike camra

Nice explanation, anyone else feel this way? The majority of posters to this thread seem to like black ops over MW3. Anyone care to explain why black ops is more popular or better?

black ops is a good game, its just the campaign...I couldnt really get into it like mw3's. mw3 had a good campaign.

I personal like MW3 better. I just find the controls smoother, although it can be very frustrating sometimes (bad spawns and stuff).

I love modern warfare cuz of the campaign (Captin Price, Soup, Ghost, Gaz, Yuri, Roach, Sandman and all the others they made modern warfare what it is today, it would be awesome if they was real soldiers but they not sadly, i wish i could star in MW4 cuz Captin Price is going to need more loyal soldiers i be perfect soldier but i can only dream

MW3 6/10- Because of the awful lag compensation making the game so unpredictable. Otherwise would have been 8.
