Wow, lots and lots of solid 360 and PS3 love in the US and Europe both. Japan has a hard on for Nintendo. No surprises here though.

Oddly enough just the opposite in the US. Then again sales are neck and neck in Europe.

It's pretty odd how Japan doesn't like any American games, yet Resident Evil is still a huge seller there and that's very Americanized now.

Not surprised to see that Dragon Quest X isn't ranked higher on Japan's sales chart. I'm sure the Wii U version will fair much better next year.

The reason stereotypes are true is because stereotypes are true lol. When looking at such huge cross sections people CAN speak in generalities. Sure there are sub-segments but I don't understand people that get all upset when speaking about such generalities. In broad terms, it looks like there is nothing surprising to see here (not sure what the colors mean, though). EU loves Football (the global one) and PS3, JP loves Pokemon, Nintendo portables and hates western products and America loves Football (American) and 360 per usual. Man, Japan sure loves RE.
It seems that this generation still hasn't changed since halfway through its lifecycle and probably won't ever change.Last edited by Bio; 10-28-2012 at 18:50.
