Still on the fence with this one, but I'll probably buy it when it drops to $40 new or if I can find a used copy for a decent price online. I wasn't all that impressed with WWE '12 and I haven't been a real fan of WWE for years, but I keep up with enough that I'm usually able enjoy the games without being completely lost as to what's going on.

I got WWE 12 after not buying one for many years and liked it for what it was. I just haven't seen that great of impressions over 13. Not necessarily bad ones either, so I dunno. Would any of you rank it much better than 12?

It has a larger roster so that's a plus. Attitude Era is very nice. WWE Universe has branching stories but doesn't happen often. Over all I like WWE 13 better because when you make your own story you can have branching story and of course everything I mentioned.

For someone who would probably play universe mode or online the most, is there really any changes to Universe mode? Is it basically 12 with branching storylines instead? It's hard to watch reviews b/c they overhype every option these games make.

I feel like Universe is drastically improved over last years.

- You can customize a card prior to starting a match. For example, if I don't like the Raw they give me, I can change each match and THEN start the show and play through without having to stop.

- You can add custom PPV's

- You can add a new show to any day of the week

There is a lot more that I can't think of at the moment, but I am big into Universe mode and this is a big step up from last years imo.

I think the game in general is great. I love the new physics and improved graphics. I don't think I ever tried this in 12 so I don't know if it's new or not but you can do moves on to the announce table or off the top rope onto the announce table. The "OMG Moments" are awesome (especially the ring collapse).

I have minor complaints. Most of those will be patched. Positives way out the cons ten fold. This blows WWE '12 out of the water.

Is this game better than WWE 12?

I bought 12 second hand it was the first wrestling game I had bought since the PS2 era of wrestling games. I wasn't that keen on it and it only lasted me about a week before it became kind of boring and repetitive.

This one any differemt?

I was big on PS2 games. Its better than wwe 12 the attitude era is fun to play.

Got this for crimbo can't wait to get stuck in. Attitude era was my favourite time with the WWF.

Doubt I'll plat this though unlike the other WWE games, I've seen a max online rank in the trophy list and read that the stats can glitch and reset. Still looking forward to giving it a blast though

Yeah this is why online trophies annoy me. They should put them in but not count them towards platinum. Maybe with PS4 they will make it so that you only need every single player trophy for a platinum. Relying on an online functionality and other people to get a platinum is sometimes stressful.

Better roster, better moves, looks a little better. It is def better than WWE 12.

Agreed. As well as shutting servers down making it completely impossible for late comers to the game to get a platinum (yes EA I'm looking at you, you ****!!).

I haven't recently had a go at playing online, but on two occasions my online score did reset after I relaunched the game.

My YouTube people keep asking me for gameplay videos so if I actually get round to doing it I will investigate this glitch, and see if it is still the case.
I don't see the point in making a gameplay video otherwise because one can pretty much find whatever they want from the game already.
