Im so excited for this game. I have been a fan of the WWE games since the smackdown series started. i have had each and every single one up to '12 so far and am gonna get '13

The roster looks really good, just missing some obvious AE names like D'Lo and Al Snow for example.

Also the new universe mode looks good but the modes always look good in the vids THQ releases. Then when you play them you realise they're nothing like what they made it seem and the mode is filled with bugs. Not trying to be overly negative but its always the same with these games.
WWE 12 was the same in that aspect. Universe mode was filled with bugs and there were even promised features missing lol..

Maybe I'll pick this game up when it's cheapet and if it has favorable reviews..

I am disappointed no WCW Monday nitro arena. Ah well customize FTW. Got my week all set up for universe.

Mon-RAW(is WAR!!) (WWF champion(09-02), USA, Tag, Diva)
Tues-NXT(best and brightest upcoming) (No titles)
Wed- Diva (see all the divas duh)(Diva and women's champion)
Thursday-Extreme(all extreme rules matches)(ECW champion)
Friday-Smackdown(world heavyweight, Intercontinental, tag team, womens)
Sat-Heat

Sundays I will have least two PPV per month.

Blimey! I thought I was hyped with an idea for a storyline

I noticed that in the creation videos it has the old Smackdown (fist) arena, as well as the old Raw arena, like when Cena first went over to Raw. That's pretty darn cool!
I extremely doubt it but it would be f*cking sweet if the WrestleMania X-Seven arena or staging was in there!

But now here's a list of unlockables:

I just need online mode to be awesome. I haven't been excited for a WWE game since SVR 2007. This game looks legit and I hope it proves to be true! And again, if you guys wanna join a league to shoot teh shit, link in my sig.

Anybody buying fan axxess? I had to sit down and talk myself into it. Was a very tough decision.

I plan to do a Diva focus story line(if I can). Itll bring the diva division back on top in the days of Trish, Victoria, Mickie, and Lita. It features my own created char. Hope I can do it.

I got it.

I read that if you have the Fan Axxess you can actually upload and download content that has DLC stuff in it, so that's awesome!

Yep fan axxess is def worth it. The dicount on dlc is great but the selling for me is it unlocks everything so don't have to meet requirnments for the stuff. Let's me have fun right from the start.

I bought Fan Axxess for WWE 12 last year on release day. Definitely worth it as I hate doing stupid shit in the game just to unlock a title or piece of clothing.

Reviews please

Is there actually anything worthwhile doing on this one? WWE12 was awesome gameplay wise, but boring, I couldn't think of anything to do. Story mode was crap, didn't want to make a story as you couldn't upload with the add on people. Universe mode sucked and just didn't make any sense. I took to writing my dream PPV's on my laptop and playing them.

So is there anything I can do to keep me occupied in this one?

Its not much different than last years. The physics and gameplay have been improved.
Attitude Era mode is fun.
I loved universe mode in 12, and its basically the same in 13.

so basically better gameplay, and better character roster. If you didn't find last years fun, this one probably wont change that.
But I had a blast with 12, and love this one as well.

Hmm interesting! I liked 12's gameplay but I just didn't know what to do in the game. I might get it, I dunno.

Yeah pretty much if you liked WWE 12, you'll like WWE 13. the branching stories in universe mode do not happen often.

Don't know about improved gameplay. It's practically the same as last year. Except they don't allow you to reverse initial grapples and the reversal window is bigger. None the less the game is pretty solid. I'd give it a 8/10.

Played the game at a friends house today. Definitely an improvement over WWE 12. Used Ken Shamrock first, that guy is just pure ownage just like how he used to be irl lol. AE mode looked fun but personally I'm not really a fan anymore of those story modes in WWE games.

Also this game is an automatic no-buy because I noticed Mason Ryan is in fact not in this game.. All they had to do was import his character model from WWE 12, make his hair longer and he'd be good to go lol.

I got WWE 12 after not buying one for many years and liked it for what it was. I just haven't seen that great of impressions over 13. Not necessarily bad ones either, so I dunno. Would any of you rank it much better than 12?
