So a while back I entered a Square-Enix Members draw to attend an event this Friday in the Royal Albert Hall in London..I completely forgot about it. Until now, just received an e-mail saying I was one of the winners.

I am going to be able to attend the concert on Friday morning/afternoon and I'll be meeting Nobuo Uematsu himself and playing some Final Fantasy games.

Can't believe I actually won this..biggest thing I have ever won for sure, completely forgot I even entered it. Though I need to find someone who wants to go too.

Yeah, I'm hoping they show off some stuff considering there is no cameras and it is an anniversary event.

Congrats. I'm off there to watch it with my girlfriend - we went last year and it was very good, especially with the big screen showing clips of the FF games whilst the music is being played. As soon as One Winged Angel played at the end, the crowd went crazy.

This says it is at 7.30pm in the evening..however the event I am going to is from 10am-1.30pm.

Are you sure your times are correct? I know there are VIP meet and greet tickets, which includes the concert which starts at 7:30pm on Friday, and the meet and greet reception afterwards. But starting at 10am? There isn't anything about that on the Royal Albert Hall website or the Distant Worlds website. Confusing!

I highly recommend buying a ticket for the concert on the evening though. Still available for £65, and they play songs from just about every FF game. It's worth it just to hear One Winged Angel in such a venue.

I'm a poor student though, I'm paying £17 for my return coach to London and back to Portsmouth.

I'm sure they are going to play plenty of songs for us..I'll be posting my impressions in this thread afterwards.

Square-Enix sent out an e-mail a while ago with info on the giveaway, just entered my name for it and got lucky. They were giving away 75 pairs of tickets.

was just checking the official Twitter for the 25th anniversary, apparently they will be giving out some stuff to the attendees as well. Also tempted to bring some extra cash cause they will be selling merchandise there too.
