Yea I don't mind the wait...I mean, GTAV was difficult to wait for because we had like 3 awesome games very early in PS2's life cycle. It sucks but I feel that GTAV is worth the wait.

Every GTA game is worth the wait

So i am fully happy with the 5 year cycle or 4 yer cycle... As along as the volume of raw game-play is there, i am excited always

Like they innovated a lot in GTAIV but was it more fun? Not necessarily, in fact it had less things to do. So what's the point of technology when it's less fun?
I don't think it's less fun to improve on the core gameplay. Being able to shoot freely from your vehicle, breaking the window of a car to get inside, taking cover behind walls and better physics were nice in GTA IV. Going out on dates with your cousin and friends were boring but people seem to forget they were optional.

I never really had the problem of there not being enough to do because I would make my own fun by roleplaying in open world environments or seeing how long I could survive in a shootout with the police. The top-notch visuals and attention to detail in the environment helps too.

Yeah I totally agree with you. There were some really awesome additions. The physics alone were just really fun. I was wanting some sort of a shock-n-awe experience I had with SA...I mean, that was just beautiful...if you guys remember. Planes, jets...mountains...I would have loved to see GTAIV in that environment.

That's precisely why I can't wait for GTAV because it seems to have the same feeling (and looks).

GTAIV was an awesome game but the problem with Rockstar is that they always do so well that we expect too much out of them. If you look at GTAIV and what it achieved back in 2008...it still hasn't been surpassed yet, only to be surpassed by GTAV and so on.

GTA V is what we got in GTA 3, VICE CITY, SAN ANDREAS,

All rolled into one, this is what we expected when this gen was up and now we have a GTA game that is the GTA's i mentioned all in one

If you look at it this way, we have FRANKLIN who is CARL from S.A and we have MICHAEL which is TOMMY from V.C and TREVOR who is CLAUDE from GTA 3..

So GTA V is the STANDARD HD gta games all in one

Hell yeah, I can't wait to explore the countryside. I had hours of fun doing the same in San Andreas.

Shark fighting, even though the job Franklin does is a bit like Lone sharking. In the sense you get a lone and i take your car back as payment

Sadly the collectors edition is quite poor imo, the only thing I would really want is the hotrod DLC and the character DLC.

I'll stick with the special/limited edition.

But here is the thing, when you play the game you can fly the Blip anyways

But you would not get all the extra's until the Game Of The Year Edition

Wait...there are gameplay elements that I cannot enjoy because I may have the regular version? Please tell me this is not true because I don't give a **** how amazing a game is if I think the developer is a douche-****ing-bag.

No no, in the standard game you buy. You can still drive the blip and get the extra online gear/ characters. You just have to play harder too get them i am assuming

Because after all, Game Of The Year never neglect those that buy the standard game, when the game of the year edition comes out

All if not some off the features in the C.Edition will be their.

Look at Forza games, when the special editions game out and all them monthly free downs-loads occurred
Everyone that never bought into it, cried and cried and eventually the Game of the year edition came out and there they were in all there glory

I don't mind for the extra stuff, I just wanna be able to do everything. By extra I mean extra blimps or more variety, I understand that. I just don't wanna be like, oh I can't do this because I didn't buy the special edition.
