The move from Lucas to Disney means the quality level hasn't changed a bit from the prequel trilogy.
Tron Legacy and Avengers... Look at the cool bright lights and awesome explosions. Not a damn thing to the philosophies and atmosphere that star wars could bring, that the originals had. Oh, right... and John Carter... yeah...
It's not impossible for it to be good, but they need a director who has some balls and vision to do it justice. Not let Disney walk all over it.

Disney got this well..I wouldn't mind the least it would be is pg-13 think the pirates of the carribean movies were pg-13 as well.

Mixed feelings here too. Love Star Wars and would welcome new movies.... if they are good. Which is the crux of the issue. Because bad movies will do nothing but hurt the brand for many people. A good thing to come will be the certainty of another slew of Star Wars games, some of which will have to be good purely down to chance.
Not sold on sequels though, sound pretty lame to me. There's so much cool backstory that prequels in the distant past must be the better option. Oh well

Apparently the next movie is about Luke finding the new generation of Jedi and training them..so I think it would be awesome if they get as much of the original cast as possible, it doesn't matter that they have aged either because it can be set years after the end of Return of the Jedi.

I need to brush up on star wars. I need to buy some blu ray versions if there are any.As for disney being a in the mix, it doesn't bother me. I think there a talented company and they paid a lot for it. They wouldn't dare mess it up.
