Ok Sony, time for a price cut, on both the system and the memory card. Also, get your Japan studio working on stuff that people in Japan care about cough Wild Arms cough. Looks like Toki Towa had no legs at all and was kind of a bomb, but it's ImageEpoch, so I'm not at all surprised.

Sony isn't gonna do a price cut on the vita....they are sticking with bundles currently.

3ds on top....and Wii U coming soon we can see nintendo domination soon in japan....

With Tales of Xillia 2 and Yakuza Collection releasing yesterday it should post at the very least 50K. Not sure if they did any LE PS3 bundles like they did with ToX1 though.

When the 3ds was out, it had a few good number weeks... then the DSI kept outselling it. Once the price was dropped, and more games were released, 3ds took the crown; and it has had that crown ever since.

I will say it again. I would not worry about the lower Vita numbers, personally. Look at the PSP. It is STILL selling, and Sony is STILL supporting it, even though it hasn't touched DS sales. While I agree that more sales of Vita would equate to more game support, it will come in time. Just watch, once the Vita reaches the same life as the PSP-3000, we will see successful sales numbers.

It will not reach the PSP-3000 unless they reduce the price and have more content, while at the same time lowering the prices for their bs memory cards. If they don't do numbers 1 and 3, #2 won't be that relevant.

To my knowledge Sony isn't really supporting PSP anymore (other than producing them obviously), it's thanks to the third party support that it keeps getting bumped up there with the PS3.

I have no idea what Japan Studio is up to but they need to get to work on some titles for either PS3 or Vita because it's been very quiet other than Gravity Rush/Daze as of late.

This. Studio Japan has honestly been far to quite for my taste this gen. I'd love to see a new Legaia title.

If it takes too much time, developers aren't going to keep making games for the system so they can eventually get out of the red on this platform. Look at what EA did to FIFA13. Instead of actually putting time and money into the game and porting the console features into it... they spent the least amount of time and money and screwed the game completely. This is going to to be a trend from third party developers if Sony doesn't get their thumbs out of their ass.

Japan is telling to say the least. Almost a complete year (Dec 17th), and look at the sales there. Pathetic to say the least.
