EA giving codes for Crysis 3 Alpha

Basically...

They have partner deployment of the keys.. facebook is basically one of them.

Find their "Crysis posted an offer" post. Looks like this:



Click on it, and follow the instructions. It'll say you need to do an offer, blah blah... you don't. Just keep clicking until it gives you a code. Use that code in Origin. Open Origin and click on the "Origin" in the upper left hand of the client. Choose "Redeem Product Code..". Enter the code, accept the next few things, and then download the beta. Enjoy.

Looks identically like all the previous Crysis games.

Definitely not. It looks way better, and has a decent difference in the actual game play, and multiplayer aspects... definitely check it out.

Depends on whether you are signed up with one of the partners that are distributing the keys. I haven't found too much info on "who" those parties are. If I find 'em, rest assured, they'll be posted here.

WOW an alpha test. last one I saw as high profile was BF3 last year. It hink they mean serous business this time.
Couple it with the latest Cryengine 3 upgrades it should look super amazing awesome good.

the lighting is what I would expect for next gen games, just about everything cast light and shadows on anything around it.
