How much should someone pay for a 69 mustang?

I just want to know what you should pay for one. I see these things go from 10 to 50,000

Well, if i owned one then it would be priceless for me. So no one couldn't buy one for me. If i was about to lose my house and my mustang would covered it if i sold it, i wouldn't do it. Just to give you a example of the value of the car for me.

alot of variables factor this. Condition of the car, the model of the car, how original it is, body work done, engine work done, they can range from 5k to 50k or high for rarer models.

So you should pay for whatever you can afford and have real expectations when it comes to how much work or issues your willing to deal with when buying a car especially an older car.

    I wouldn't pay more than $2 to 69 a mustang.

A decent one would cost 35k minimum.

Honestly, the mustang my father bought that I have now after renovation cost around 15k, and was in pretty bad condition except for the actual shell of the car. Needed new engine, seats, stereo, and much of the inner workings had to be taken out and fixed.

But for a fully function perfect condition 69 mustang? I've seen some go for near 75k.

I've seen a lot in the 15k to 20k range in excellent condition the year 69 doesn't hold as much value typically when compared to the 64 1/2 of 65 stangs...

For me personally I wouldn't spend more than 15k

Ill tell you exactly what happened lmao I actually did research for this back in school.

In the Mid 70's with the Gas crisis that killed off most of the muscle cars ford made the Mustang smaller and more fuel efficient most of their models were V6 since a V8 engine at the time couldn't fit. The only exception was the King Cobra which is the rarest of all mustangs!

Mustangs didn't come back until the mid 80's with the Fox body platform with the 5.0

Since the 60's the Mustang has looked $#@!.
Eventhe new ones don't look as good, they look better than the 70's 80's and 90's but still no looker.
I think Mstangs always looked better as convertable that might have something to do with it.
