I'm hoping too swap the extra game i didnt intend to keep, during the buy 2 get one free promotions. And if everything goes as planned will be swapping it towards Declassified. I need a good shooter and even though I'm not into the Franchise on the Console, i could tolerate it on a portable platform.

Damn already have a backlog of games on my vita i need to get thru

Now I've pulled myself off blops on PS3 I thought I'd give the vita a whirl, checked to see if there was a update and they've added adhoc wireless play in a patch so grabbing that first and will update later.

Just a quick first impression after 4 missions and 2 games online, smooth, enjoyable and feels good. You can aim grenades as you would with a DS pad, tap the screen and adjust height and position with the right stick during pulling the pin animation rather than drag your finger over where you want it on the screen.

It has the black ops theme tune (which i much prefer over blops2), I haven't suffered any lag, I had to turn the sensitivity down abit, sprint can be toggled to Double tap down on dpad or the longer the direction is held for the character will auto sprint (my current setting and by far the easiest). Players seem to take afew extra shots to die and I also thought I was taking a lot of damage before dying - maybe like I was juggernaut or something?

Only downside is the 4 missions I completed my completion time was under 4 minutes on all, 3 on others albeit that wasn't on a hard difficulty. There are no check points either so far, that's doesn't bother me as they ones I've finished we're short enough to start with, I don't if this changes later on.

I really hope the missions become longer and or future DLC adds abit more to the SP side of things.

Graphically wise, it's a huge improvement over R:BS, the presentation of the menus and layout is very slick, with the predator missile kill streak the position is marked by tapping on the screen where you want impact.

That's about it for now, going to get back on it. Cheers

A huge fuckin yay from me I'm loving it. I see why it is 4v4 as well which I was abit gutted about at first but with the size of the maps the balance is spot on.

Great, also how is the community i'm on the fence about opening my copy, I know some vita online games have a small community its very hard finding a co-op buddy on Unit 13 (which is pretty fun when you do), Do you feel this will be the case for COD.

Is there any video reviews for this yet? Most the sites are only focusing on the console release.

50 mins?! Bloody hell, that on Recruit?
At least the online seems decent so far but as said full price is abit excessive. I paid £24.99 delivered.
