I remember a few years ago I had that and it dropped from my hand while I was walking, and smashed onto the concrete without a scratch, and my friend dropped his fancier phone on the ground a few days after and it destroyed.

I thought I'd share one of my best friends first phones. It was so strange
Nokia 7600

I had that phone! It was so weird to text on to begin with but then it was amazing!


My first phone was a Nokia NK402 what was essentially a Nokia 5110, i got this when I was in year year 5 (Was about 9 years old) as I used to catch the bus back from school and my mum wanted something she could contact me on.

I then got the Siemens C45i


Then after that I had the legend that was the Nokia 3330. I remember being told that if you could beat 1000 points on Snake II you would be able to get free £10 calling credit. I tried hard for days and days until i finally beat it and found out it was all a lie!

After the 3330 I got my first colour phone what was the Sagem MyG-5, this phone actually came with a free portable black and white TV


Then it was back to Nokia for the N-Gage. This phone was amazing for playing games at school, THPS2, Fifa and Worms all got played loads between me and a few other friends that had them. Then the PSP came out shortly after and I had no need for the N-Gage ever again used to hate the way you had to make calls on this thing, i really wanted the N-Gage QD when it was released.



Then on to my last ever Nokia, the 7600



edit: Turns out the phone i thought was an LG was actually a NEC e122. I had this due to my Nokia above stopped accepting charge and Carphone Warehouse had this phone for fairly cheap after i traded in the above phone for this.

Then I got my first Sony Ericsson W810i, this had 512MB of memory that I upgraded to 2GB, was the first phone I had with a decent MP3 player.



Then i got the Sony Ericsson W960i 8GB, my last ever Sony Ericsson. This phone was the first phone I had ever owned that had a touchscreen interface and a scroll wheel on the side. Loved the way the MP3 buttons would only light up when you opened the walkman application. I also liked how a light near the charging port would flash red if low on battery or green if you had a text message.


Then the iPhone was released and I wanted it so bad i ended up having two phone contracts And since then I've used nothing but iPhones.



Then a 16GB 3G

Then a 32GB iPhone 4


Now i have a 32GB iPhone 5





That right there is my history of mobile phones, every phone I had ever owned. How things have changed and how far they've came!

I got my first phone at 17 in 1997 it was pretty crappy no idea who made it, it wasn't Nokia, Motorola or any of the big names it was just a phone on Pay as you go (no contract) I used that for a few months until some fucker knocked me over on my way home from work and the screen got smashed, I used it with a busted screen for a while just so people could contact me but I knew I had to get a new one.

The guys at work all had the Ericsson GA628 (company phone) and I thought it looked cool and was easy to use so I got one of those on contract when I was 18, it was great and pretty small phone back then.
After the GA628 I got the next model up thinking it would be a better phone but it wasn't it kept beaking and after the 3rd failure Carphone warehouse gave me a Nokia 3210.

I think after the 628 Ericsson's quality went down hill and never recovered, even the newer Sony Ericsson phones are shit I had a w580i and it was complete and utter trash the keypad cracked after a couple of months, the earpiece wasn't loud enough and was slow.


I gave my first phone to my Dad who only just recently got rid of it this year although he wasn't using it he was using another old phone of mine.

My first phone was an Ericsson GA 628 back in 1998.

Lasted barely a year. Owned many phones since then. All were short lived, as I came to realise that I loved throwing them to the wall when I was angry.
Stopped taking my anger out on mobile phones (after a very enjoyable 8 year career) when I got my first smartphone.

I had that phone back in 2003 I believe. I went from the Nokia 7160 to that one. Here is a picture of my 7160. The largest cell phone I ever owned lol. I bought this one in 2000.

Damn ive had a whole heap of mobiles over the years im talking loads 60 -70 easy. One of my first was a Moto d250, others included moto v.box, nokia 3210, nokia 6510, Ericsson t20i. i might compile a list cause now im curious how many ive actually owned.

I have become dependent on mine have done for years now. i lost one once about a year back and its amazing the level of need i had for it. Shame really.

It was a good one cause it stood out from the rest, but a nightmare every time you wanted to make a call, texting was good though.
