Watch Dogs, the futuristic, sci-fi bloodbath from Ubisoft, is scheduled to drop in 2013, CEO Yves Guillemot said during a financial call today.
"Watch Dogs will be coming next year," Guillemot said, in reference to the AAA titles Ubisoft has scheduled for 2013.
Watch Dogs is a third-person, open-world action shooter that appears to take cues from Blade Runner, Grand Theft Auto and Daft Punk. Ubisoft hopes to get it on PS3 and Xbox 360 "for sure," though Wii U is still an option. Meanwhile, the PC version it showed off at E3 was certainly noteworthy.
Looking forward to seeing more. It's been in development for two years now.

I am in the same boat, Blacksite. Very interested in seeing more in 2013. That stuff at E3 was really impressive, and I felt it had a little bit of an Assassin's Creed vibe to it.

It'll be a good year for sure. GTA V in the first half and Watch Dogs in the second.

Next year is looking great for gamers. At least IMO. I'm definitely gonna have to check this one out. I'm a geek for anything sci-fi. Remember Me also looks fantastic.

I have faith that'll still look really nice! Ubisoft always seems to bring their A-game.

No thanks, Ubisoft can take their microtransactions and shove them up their asses.

Looked good when they first showed it, but definitely need to see more of the game. Can't really get excited with how little has been shown.

i fucking hate F2P games and Microtransactions...
the only way id be okay with this... is if the game had 2 models...
Full Retail Price (and get a full retail game... maybe give us expansion packs after 5 or 6 months... not little DLC items... expansions.)
F2P (the game is absolutely free, but you have to purchase items, gear, clothes, weapons with microtransactions, never totaling more than it would be to buy the game. IE: once you spend 60$ the full game is available to you, all items/gear.
Any company that charges more for microtransactions on top of a full retail priced game can go fuck themselves.

I dunno, it could look just as good. look at sleeping dogs, that game was really nice looking graphic wise, in fact, in terms of all current sandbox, it is the best looking so far. I wouldn't doubt this game is going to surpass sleeping dogs in terms of graphics. the lighting in watch Dogs looks brilliant.

I had high hopes for this game, then I heard you could have someone "hack" your mission - meaning you've spend 3 hours on a mission, only 2 minutes to complete then a complete random guy comes and steals your hard work or prevents you from finishing the mission? How is it any fun?
Now with microtransactions, some lame rich guys will just pawn you here and there ...
Seems I'll look over to Remember me.

Jumping to conclusions much?
I have yet to play a game that has micro-transactions that break the game. If you're scared of micro-transaction items then you just plain suck at the game because there's a counter to everything.
Also I don't know when they said this hacking thing, but it sounds thrillingLast edited by itachi73378; 11-19-2012 at 16:11.

I like UBISOFT for making some great games but hate them for the other stuff they do, like this crap, stupid uplay and how they treat PC gamers.
