Future US confirmed today it will end production of PlayStation: The Official Magazine with the last issue slated for the Holiday 2012 issue. Both Future US and PlayStation The Official Magazine could not offer further comment at this time.
Future US announced earlier this year it would also be closing Nintendo Power.

I remember the last time they stopped making Playstation Magazine! It was a sad day. The only was gaming magazines can thrive is with exclusive info and interesting articles

Bummer, I still got them, even though everything in it was available on the internet. It was a nice thing to have with me when on a plane or even on a break at work.

I believe thats the US magazine, which hasn't been running as long as the UK one, like a good 10 years less

Subscribed for years. Always preferred the U.K. magazine 'Play'. Way more content and a really cool ratings playlist in the back. Also came with demo discs sometimes but they were always region locked. PTOM was pretty cool though. A lot of the writers bolted in recent years, probably seen this coming.

I haven't brought a playstation magazine for a couple of years now. I normally use Gametrailers or this forum to check out reviews.
Edge and Play used to be pretty good when demo discs were needed!

I have not had a subscription to this magazine since the PS1 days. And that was only because they included demos with their mag. And having a demo for a game back then was the coolest!!!!
I think this was the magazine....
