Thats the real reason right there. The pharmacutical companies stand to lose big money as people self medicate instead of buying sleeping aids and whatnot. Thats why the federal supreme court will strike down these propositions.

I almost thought about youtubing it, because it was one of those situations that you see pop up on Reddit or something. No I didn't say anything at all. I literally walked in the place after I got off work an hour ago and they were sitting in total silence staring at each other in the kitchen. Tension was little charging the air around them.

She was hugging her knees and I saw her lip quivering (total cliche right?) and I said "Uh..whatsup?" My brother told me what he heard from Colorado and I nodded. He said "And I told her if it were legal here I might try it.." and she bursts out bawling and crying.

It's funny you said "cliche" because i was thinking the same thing. I was picturing it as a film and it was funny.I don't think it's a big deal as long he isn't buying weed over paying bills or something.I think she's being melodramatic.I fee bad for you being in that tension thought because i know the feeling. Is he about to go find some weed or something right no?

Last time I smoked some weed was around 2006 and all it wanted me to do was sleep so thats what I mostly used it for. i would have a joint before bed then be relaxed and asleep within the hour and wake up refreshed and not groggy like some sleeping pills do.
However it is a bit expensive compared sleeping pills so not very good alternative ont that front 1/4 ounce back then cost me £20 and lasted me about 1 week yet sleepers cost less than a fiver for 2 weeks worth.

Me? I've been smoking it for the last 7 years of my life. I'm not a big drinker, i only really drink if i'm going out down town. Smoking is my daily relaxer. Some people get home after work and crack open a beer. I get home and roll up.

Haha Same. I like a lil vodka from time to time, but when I want to unwind...There's no substitute.

In New Zealand, I remember ads on TV campaigning for awareness of drunk driving and alcohol induced domestic violence. It was bad enough that the government made ads on TV ffs. There was not ONE ad campaigning against any of the fallout of cannabis use. The ONLY reason cannabis is illegal is cause it's so fucking easy to grow yourself and governments are all butt hurt cause they wouldn't be able to tax that.

Some argue that it is a gateway drug which is also bullshit, Amsterdam has shown that legalisation won't turn your society into an army of crack heads.

People seem to be a lot more judgmental of people who smoke cannabis than they are of people who drink, but who has the potential, generally, to be the bigger asshole, the bigger idiot and put them selves in the greater danger?

The only thing at risk for a cannabis smoker is an empty fridge.

My brother used to smoke all the time now he doesn't at all. Me I can't even take a chance or get catch with that stuff due to my career could be a reason why I'm just a drinker.
