I recently came into possesion of an early copy of Blackops 2, Ive played a few offline missions and faced some bots on multiplayer maps. So if you have any questions just make a post and ill get back to you

Aim assist still exists and can be turned off.

Knifing requires you to be slightly closer, you will seem to see lunge once in a while. If you equip the knife it slashes faster.

If I put black ops and blops2 running side by side could you actually tell which is which.

This game is far superior to both Black Ops and MW3, on PS3 BO2 runs superbly. I've been playing it all morning.

It far outshines the product we received on launch of the original Black Ops.

Mind you, I've only been playing against bots.. so the experience may differ online.

servers are now online, aim assist is an option in menus. The online is the same fun as usual and the campaign throws you a couple options this time, zombies is different too

I know they created score streaks but are there still kill streaks as well (for TDM) ? Or have kill streaks been abolished completely ?

You get points for kills towards your streaks still I think, they just give you more for objective based work

I sold warfighter Saturday just gone as I thought the price would plummet now blops2 is out so can always buy it again, I played warfighter for around 30 hrs online, level 75 or something and the first thing I noticed was the pace of the game is alot quicker, which is normally the case for a cod game but it is taking me abit to adapt. First thoughts though is I'm happy with the decision I've made so far, it's very polished and plays well.

The 'pick 10' system is excellent and score streak system is similar MoH how you dot have to go on a killing rampage to call in some support, I've been playing HQ and domination which rewards xp for capturing points but also adds to the score streak. You also get assists for calling in a uav and team mates getting kills etc.

Enjoying it so far.

There is "party mode" which is the same as wager. Gun game etc. But instead of COD points you get XP to actually level up which is pretty cool

Maps are actually fun, hijacked is the new dome/nuketown i think. The spawns are better then mw3 thats for sure

i read that there is a install for the texture pack and with out the tecture pack instaled the game looks not as good as other verisons

Apparently there is no difference in quality or performance doing this.
However, it helps reduce how much the disk is read to make it last longer.

is the host migration broken in Black Ops 2 ??

i keep getting booted back to the main menu....whole party does sometimes....(I`m not party leader when it does it either)

never had a host migration fail on BLOPS2, but quite a few server disconnects which is annoying

yea, I have had a few host migration failures, only once did it work as intended but it's pretty iffy on the PS3 version. However, the game disconnects are not nearly as bad as Black ops 1.
