I came back here after not visiting the forum since summer 2011 and I don't remember the search feature not working or at least not working adequately for the forum portion of this site. It doesn't do jack, it focuses on the news part and then almost no posts or threads are found when I have the simplest and broadest of search terms...its broken. Is there something I'm missing or did the search feature say, "Ok, I'm out guys, good luck using my replacement which is going to reek ball sweat from now on."

>Advanced Search
>>Change 'Search Entire Posts' to 'Search Titles Only'
>>>Type in your search

That's exactly what I do, that's the only option to search on here.
There is no Advanced Search anywhere. I click on the search icon button and then brings me to a page that doesn't have me logged in for some reason (even though I really am logged in), and no way of getting forum posts to come up. The 'Search Entire Posts' to 'Search Titles Only' stuff isn't there either.

You're using the search bar at the top-right of the site?
I was referring to the forum search feature:

Oh that's where it is, hidden. I don't get that bar when I'm on the main page of the forum but only in a thread (maybe also a sub-forum). It says "Search Thread" but I can just go to Advanced. Well its been years since I've seen that and it should be permanently situated at the top of every page because this was hard to notice. Thanks.

I do what Ixion said and I get "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms." every single time. I use the broadest of search terms that I know 100% exist in the title of threads but the highest number of results I got was 3...and that was a search using no terms but just threads started by me, hoverbike. It doesn't work, only Google search does.

That was my idea. I clicked on this link and it looks different from the Advanced Search I've been using. I tried my search term "Dream" and all of a sudden it now works! Results are coming up like expected. They aren't the same as Google or as numerous but its totally better than the other one. I wonder if its because what I'm using only searches within THIS thread or sub-forum...because the button is located in whatever topic.
Dream or Dreams is one. I also did "December 21 2012". The link that keefy posted seems to be universal that isn't found anywhere here. Whatever the case, this is something that needs to be fixed first above almost everything else.
