Nice one F34R. The game looks much softer on the PS3, the 360 just looks more visible. Performance seemed fine on ps3

For me (with an FPS) it comes down to which controller is more suitable for an FPS, and while some may say the PS3, I say the 360. I own FPS game for the PS3, but with the layout I much prefer the 360 controller for this style of game play. Or maybe I am just becoming confused as I jump from Halo 4 on my 360 to Resident Evil 6 on my PS3.

Now after watching these videos I WANT this game.......fuck. So much to play and so little time. MUST.......FIGHT.....URGE and only buy during the holidays....

PS3 by far! I played black ops on the Xbox 360 last night at my house, cuz my friend brought his system over and I had my ps3 and between 7 people everyone proffered the ps3 version! Most of us are die hard ps3 gamers though and wouldn't ever ditch Sony so that's a possibility! But they both look great!

Yeah, nothing wrong with going with the system you prefer. You literally have to look for the differences instead of playing the game... Make the choice, then play.

Both play very well so far. Sp wise I didn't notice any differences in the performance range between the two.

ITs not the worst lookng game but it certainly isnt great.
ITs starting to remind me of Quake games with a texture upgrades, yes it looks better but the base is still the same low polygon world and models.

I agree! It's still got great graphics! But could still look better considering all the sales the would get to make up on the money an time spent to enhance the graphics!

It's either KZ3 visuals, or 60fps and adequate visuals. I think they made the right choice. I'd love to see KZ3 + 60fps! That would be golden to say the least. (on consoles of course..)

Picked up a 360 elite for 80 quid this morning.....was gonna purchase black op's 2 for it but i fuckin HATE the control pad so will pick up the ps3 version when back in stock...plenty of 360 versions at my local tesco but all ps3 versions gone.

I like this game but I strictly bought it for MP only, I don't give a crap about the campaign at all. I have seen both and I like the PS3 version, while it is a bit softer that isn't a bad thing. one of the bands hooked up the Xbox360 version and it was sharp, HOWEVER I could see the jaggies pretty well, but not so much on the PS3 version. The only difference I could see in the visuals was that, just that the Xbox360 was a bit sharper. Nothing to worry about honestly and both games run silky silky smooth.

Thats a shame you dont get the free nuke town map, i pre orderd mine at blockbusters and i got the free map pack and a free COD Black Ops 2 rubber bracelet and a free Act of Valour DVD me so very happy

The 360 isn't dog muck. Far from it...just preference thats all. Can't say i'm arsed about free rubber bands n shit with the game...also imagine i'll be able to get the nuketown map anyways irrespective of wheather i pre ordered or not.

I haven't touched single player yet...but MP looks like BO1 to me. Game is fun and addicting as usual.

We should create a poll to showcase who buys CoD games for the campaign, and those for the MP. I bet those numbers would be interesting.......Frankly for me it is ALL about the multiplayer. I have yet to even finish the campaign on Black Ops, or MW3.

I play every single campaign, but, I couldn't tell you a damn thing that is going on. I whip through the campaign in like 5 hours, then I set the menu default to multiplayer and never look at the campaign again, ever.

Something that I have notice with PS3 & Xbox 360 is that your TV settings need to be set differently to get the best out of each of them.

if you calibrate your TV with the PS3 it's going to look better than the Xbox 360 hooked up to the same settings & if you set your TV with the 360 hooked up it's going to look better with the 360 hooked up than with the PS3.

Do these comparisons have the PS3 optinal texture install, installed?

I did it first thing (its under the Options menu) so I don't know what it looks like with/without it. Also does the 360 version have the same option?

That maybe true but in this case its quite obviouos they have simply run Qunicunx AA over it.
I actually dont think there is any difference graphically other than that.

I was just talking in General, I haven't tried this game out yet on either console but my PS3 copy will be here tomorrow I just hope it look good in 1080P.
