Polly Pocket! Not the ugly new ones - I mean the little ones back in the 1990s. I lost all of them now, but I still have fond memories of them. I grew up with other toys, but Polly Pocket was my number #1 childhood toy.

as for my childhood toys. with fiji being a third world country and all, my dad would import stuff for my birthdays and Christmas'

for the most part we made do with:

    other than that,

and the obligatory trove of small toy cars that accompany any young boys bedroom

I also had a bazillion toy soldiers and knights. Still have 'em, along with all the tanks and castles and everything.

I had almost the exact same train set and tons a legos.

Did you really expect anything less from me?

I have a bunch of Hotwheels cars still. I'll take a picture once I get home.

Yeah, loved the cartoons for Silverhawks & ThunderCats, never had the toys though but Go-Bots were considered a cheap ass version of Transformers.

Now that I think about it I really didn't have any toys past my very early childhood. I went from playing with Thomas the Tank Engine toys when I was 3 or 4 (Used to love trains) straight to video games on DOS and the Megadrive...skipped the whole action figure thing that older kids usually get into.

Thats a shame. I had such great times with my action figures. I still had my NES and other video games growing up, but I always found time for my action figures.

Nothing wrong with feeling young! But yeah the 80's were a great time to be a kid.

Lincoln logs, legos, masters of the universe collection(including all the castles), skip-it, etch a sketch, and lite-brite come to mind. But mainly we rode around on bikes and caused trouble!
