Is it true that Capcom left Sony?

I just heard that Capcom will not produce games for Sony but they still continue producing games on Nintendo. Before Capcom produced more games on Sony like Devil May Cry and Monster Hunter which I anticipated on PSVITA. So if it is True I wonder why and what happen?

I heard that they won't be leaving for good, I heard they are dropping some titles they make for Sony, but will continue to make a few select ones for them... Not sure if either of these are true, just possible rumors goin around!

Now if Sony were to get more Western-based studios on board like Rockstar Games then you can bet the Vita would be flying off store shelves.

I heard that Seth Killian moved to Sony last July 2012, Mr. Killian has been a long time Capcom employee who joined the company in 2006 to help with Street Fighter IV. Does it mean there's no chance for Monster Hunter 4G on PSVITA in the future?

Just different blogs and news thing around in the Internet really! And I agree, capcom really isn't a big popular developer in my opinion! Like wise street fighter is probably one f their biggest game titles outta the very few they do attempt to push out! And even then that game still doesn't do too well. So I still think Sony wont have any troubles without them!

Yeah from what I can see here its just that Seth dude who left to join Sony... Capcom still make games for Sony devices, and I doubt they would stop... its like over half of their audience/possible sales

in truth Sony should be happy to even get a port of the DS version.

if i had to guess, i'd say the cost to develop a vita game does not meet the demand. -as vita's user base ain't as big as the 3DS. which is why sony should accept a port, and flout it as the "superior" version

who knows, maybe they will port it one day?

Well I give up on waiting to Monster Hunter in Vita sigh

I have been searching all over the forums and most of the threads "Monster Hunter any chance on Vita".

I will now keep my Radar on to the Xseed the developer of Ragnarok Odyssey since they have more plans of Ragnarok Odyssey in the future. But really I've been fans of Capcom for almost 7 years, just like I miss Dante, Chris. Leon and that big monster Akantor.

Im sure MH on Vita will come eventually, it just hasn't been announced yet. The platform is new, a year newer than the 3DS and it takes time to make the games. I'm sure its in the pipeline

Yeah maybe your right but I give up after hearing the news and announcing it on 3DS first.
Monster Hunter was published first on Ps2 why it came on 3DS first. You have a point that the Vita was recently released this year but you know PSP has been rocking on when Monster Hunter has been launched.

What the FUCK!?!? Capcom is leaving Sony? I can't believe this!! Who is gonna give us PS3 gamers faithful sequels to our beloved old school titles? Who is going to give us just one edition of their games with out sending a shit storm of delux editions?! Who is going to give us all access to all content on the disc without buying the dlc to unlock it, if not the awesome Capcom? Why? Man FML...Fuck Capcom, and FUCK Sony...Fuck gaming too...and PSU!

Capcom are there to make money. So unless Sony moneybag them to make a MH on Vita they will continue to most likely make it a 3DS franchise as it is a very high selling console atm and has a huge install base, when compareed to the Vita. If the original DS could have handled a MH (the way Capcom imagined it) it would have gotten it too...It's not as much work for Capcom either as with 3ds they can re-use much of the assets from the PSP MH games.

Maybe we'll get more Capcom titles some time in the future for the Vita, but much depends on the instal base. I think Nintendo is co-publishing the western release of MH too? Not sure, but I think I read that

Speaking of Seth Killian, I get to meet him this weekend at a PlayStation All-Stars event in London ^.^
