Do you buy Call of Duty <insert yearly release game name> for SP or MP?

Do you buy the game, yearly or otherwise lol, for the campaign aspect, or primarily for multiplayer pwnage?

Doesn't matter which system you buy it for, it's irrelevant to this poll.

I buy it for mainly the MP, but always play the campaign at some point.

I play both the SP and MP, but MP is the main reason I bought. If they sold Black Ops 2 for $60, and it didn't have a campaign, I would still buy it for $60. Sad but true

MP. But I do go through the campaign. I enjoyed Blops1 in particular for the campaign and I've platinum'd it as well as MW2.

I buy them strictly for MP. And because my friends and family memebers kep forcing me. The game is absolute garbage lol! One day I'll play COD4's SP

I have always wanted to play the mw for the story but they always reg price. I bought bo2 because I wanted to see the story and the mp is a bonus. Maybe it won't be as bad as I heard lol

From CoD1 to MW1 I bought the PC version, got MW2 on PS3 and bought the PS2 CoD games. CoD3 the the only exception that game was terrible and only a rent. MW3 I just rented, was boring. Blops bought and loved. Haven't bought Blops 2 but plan to. For the most part I buy for the single player but Blops was the first CoD game I really got in to the multiplayer. Previous games I've played online but not as much as I did with Blops.

I pretty much just buy them for MP, but also play SP when I feel like it. BO2 for me is the best cod since cod4.

Its all about MP for me. I have yet to finish the campaign on both Black Ops and MW3. I put it in the console, loaded the campaign for get the fell for things (lasts 10 mins), then hit MP and never look back.

I wish they would add trophies/achievements for MP though. A trophy for your first prestige, 5000 kills, and so on....

Wow HOW did I overlook that? This should be the majority of trophies/achievements in my opinion, but at the same time if they did that even more would opt out of playing the campaign. I am sure there are many who play the campaign just to get the trophies/achievements.

I am not a big multiplayer gamer, so all my games I buy for the single player aspect. I think Resident Evil 5 and 6 are the only games I bought for the online experience.

I have played 4, WaW, BO, MW2, and MW3 and I have never touched the single player.

I've never really played COD (after 4) for the single player experience. I've dabbled here and there, but generally am bored of the over the top Hollywood theatrics. If I'm going to play COD, it will be online.
