Dang, I wish I had some better speeds.. I know the company we are with are pushing to get 40/3 available. It probably won't be this year obviously, but sometime next year. It'll be about 65-75 per month.

With virginmedia I have their broadband, Tv packages and phone line for £51 which I think is excellent value and getting a free upgrade to their next broadband package when released
In the 6 years I've been with them I can only recall having to contact them once with a problem, excellent service.

Do you really need such speed? I mean most of my pages load instantly and i can download files pretty fast but my speed is nothing near to those 200mbs. Do you like downloading terabytes of torrents or what?

We just get these speeds with the Virgin Media XXL package or whatever. Comes with TV cable box and internet. I hardly download anythingg on my PC

And I'm paying $40 a month. I don't know if that's worth it.. lol

My guess is your ISP is oversubscribed so at peak times the speed drops and the ping increases when I first joine BE in 2010 they were over subscribed but they did sort it out after about a month.
