Probably need a tech out there to take care of some of the problems that are from the lines. Check your gear. Go into your browser. Type 192.168.100.1 and see if it brings you to the modem info.

No he couldn't.
His ISP is Blue Box Group LLC in Seattle. It says so right there on the speedtest results.
A quick internet search shows that Blue Box Group is a web hosting company, so he's an employee on the company network. The funny part is his company probably has loads more bandwidth than that, but his download speeds are limited by the gigabit NIC in his computer.Last edited by Completely Average; 11-18-2012 at 04:39.

Considering it's using a wireless wifi connection and my speeds were soooo much slower before late this summer...what, did my ISP suddenly develop a conscience and decide to finally treat their customers fairly?

Then my first guess was spot on. THe second one was just a shot in the dark. I don't take the servers listed on the result image as anything of great substance regarding "where" he is. I can put a few servers up there from three states away and it sometimes says I'm 50-100 miles away. Thanks for the clarification though.

Funny thing is, I supposedly have a 30Mb connection. I can't wait until Google rolls out nationwide. I will dump TimeWarner like a bad shit in bathroom.

At least my ping test is awesome.Last edited by Morganator; 11-19-2012 at 07:44.
