Is your k/d ratio down on black ops 2?

Been playing a lot since my holiday break has started. Using heavy machine guns and ARs mostly . My k/d is at 1.6 now

Got my first VTOL Warship just now and the host on the other team rage quitted as I was on my best game ever. I was 24-3 the game had just started and I would surely have racked up about 50 kills that game

On another note.. up another .1 to 1.20

As this happens every 5-6 games, which causes the game to crash. I have been playing it less and less, until I get this one exchanged that is.

Just broke 20,000 kills tonight, I'm at 20175 kills with a 1.20 KD at the moment. Just went 34 - 4 and it didn't increase my KD. Looks like I'm sorta stuck this low lol

Nice, 20,000 kills! Beast (elpresador style).

The more high scoring rounds you clock in where you get high amounts of kills and low amount of deaths will see it slowly increase.

I had the same issue on Black Ops, as I spent months trying stupid crap and got my k/d so low it took ages to get it back up.

I think I'm @ 1.52 in Black Ops but in Black Ops 2 I went straight to business, still it could be better but it's sitting @ 1.98 right now.

I could sort of use this excuse. I have been using weapons I normally would shy away from in past iterations lol. I plan on using all the pistols and getting them all gold so I'm not really expecting to improve on 1.20 though it would be nice if I could at least get to 1.50 over the next 9 months lol

If I were to exclude all game modes and only include TDM my KDR is around 1.45 right now.

Don't forget you can always reset you stats on 'fresh start'. Currently at 1.56 but i'm trying ridiculous classes at the moment. Using the Crossbow as a primary weapon lol.

I would have to be mad to reset from almost 9th prestige lol

It just means your stats i think, you don't loose your prestige level.

Yeah its just your stats that get reset. So you'd be a prestige 10 or whatever with a low killcount and stuff 20k kills is no jokes though man, nice one

Before prestiging I loved the Kap 40 as my pistol but picked up a B23R during a game and then unlocked it myself and never looked back. Much easier to get multiple kills using it rather than the KAP40 which has just enough rounds to kill 2 at most from my experience

Okay so I just had a streak of about 15 games straight today where I went heavily positive in my KD because of the christmas noobs I went up .2 I'm now 1.22.

If I had started fresh on my stats I reckon I'd have a 3.0 KD right now after those 15 games alone lol

I recently got Diamond SMG's and I said I'd put them down to try get gold on Assault Rifles but for some reason I just can't do good with Assault Rifles now. I try to use Assault Rifles but then I start dying and switch out to an SMG and start dominating again. Giving me a headache lol

The maps are designed better for SMGs with so many close quarter routes, and sharp angles. Its just difficult to match the speed, and amount of firepower of the SMGs as opposed to the slower firing ARs.

Yeah shotguns and SMG's seem to be the best guns to roll with. I'm having fun using a crossbow with thermal sight as my main weapon at the moment.

Crossbow is one of the weapons I haven't even touched a single time over my 9 prestiges so far.

I haven't used:

All of the LMG's
2 of the shotguns (only used the Remington and the KSG)
2 of the snipers (only used the DSR and the SVU)
Riot Shield
Crossbow
Ballistic Knife
All the pistols apart from B23R and Five-seven
M27, SCAR-H and FAL

I have picked up a couple of those weapons off the floor but they didnt count towards my stats for some reason on CoD Elite.

Ok, you are missing out on a few of the best guns.

The Ballista, and the SCAR-H are the best of their types.

Its the first weapon I double prestiged with gold. Its just so powerful lol. Sometimes it only takes like 5 bullets to put a guy down. Its overpowered.

I would suggest unlocking scavenger if you do camp. The first game I used scavanger, and a claymore, and I went 24-2. Definatly unlocking scavenger this prestige.
