    Well aint there plenty of ps3/360 comparisims of it out already. I would assume you could get inference from them.

    I haven't followed this much, but i assume there are minimal
    Ps3/360 differences? Dunno.

    There's not much difference between 360 and ps3. At this stage in console cycle you literally have to count pixels to know the difference

    It isn't necessarily about pixel counting to get a resolution number. It also has to do with frame rates, screen tearing, lighting effects, etc. In still pictures, maybe you can't tell the difference.. however, playing the two games, you can tell that one has a lower frame rate vs the other, etc.

    Got my Wii U at home. Now I have to find a damned AC3 game for it.

    I'd like to argue the opposite, that you can note down differences in shadow colour dept, missing light sources and texture resolutions (how minimal their differences are) in screenshots but you can't tell while playing a game in real time (unless the port is horrible like ME3) 2012 games have so similar performance levels that I'm surprised how good the devs have gotten using the ps3

    I'll be recording game play on all three, and try and make sure everything is done in the time and locations.... we'll see soon enough I guess.

    Open world games are CPU intensive; please try arkham city, its the only openish type world on the WiiU!

    I'll have some footage sometime today, but my PS3 isn't cooperating. I'm working on that part. I had to spend a LOT of time last night, about eight hours, fixing my damn laptop that I would be using for video capture and editing. ffs, last night was a chore to say the least. Hopefully I get it all sorted today.

    Blops is a game that hardly pushes anything. Not a game i would expect to push anything.

    Its about as low a standard as you can get. Modified quake 4 engine specifically designed not to push visuals in fabour of frame rate.

    Yep, that's what I thought it was going to be. I knew it looked like the 360, as closely as it can, but I didn't think the framerate would be holding to a better standard than the other two consoles.

There are many other ports on the Wii U that do not suffer from this.

    You will choose what you want to believe. I cant change that, but I can voice my concern at this console, based on the evidence presented.

    I cant predict what will happen in the future with this console and hardcore games, but as far as I'm concerned its already starting at a severe disadvantage.

    I believe you seem to think we are knocking it because it is "worse" than current consoles. Nobody is saying that.
    We are suggesting it aint whole hell of lot, if at all, more powerful.

    It never claimed to be either. Even if it is exactly as powerful as the other consoles, it still offers things the other consoles can't. But the hardware is not an issue for the console. It is an issue for gamers bored of their PS3 and 360 and want super amazing future graphics. The Wii U is not that and now people are complaining that Nintendo is not their savior. However it is a savior to those that were hanging on to their Wii's hoping for a new HD Wii to come out.
