I really am grateful for the most wonderful person alive - my beautiful girlfriend.
I am grateful for my caring family.
I am grateful to live in a first-world country (it is so sad what happens to other people in poorer countries).
I am grateful for having successfully obtained my University double degree.
I am grateful for being alive and in good health.

I guess my " I'm thankful that Burger King is open" post got deleted lol. Anyway, I tend to agree with some when saying you shouldn't be thankful on a certain day. Either way, you're still giving thanks which all that matters. This forum so far has a great community. Thankful to be posting with cool people unlike some other forums I go to and mainly thankful for the doors and chapters I have gone through in my life.

I've been thankful for my wonderful gf and some key family members and friends. Things have gone south a bit in the last few months, but thanks to my support system I haven't lost track of my goals or my desire for change.
To me, I have always been thankful of them, but it's that one meal a year when you can really reflect and see the difference people have on your life. Things haven't completely gone as intended, but I wouldn't change the people who surround me.

My wife.
"When I was 12, I milked my eel into a pot of turtle stew. I flogged the one-eyed snake, I skinned my sausage. I made the bald man cry into the turtle stew, which I believe my sister ate. At least I hope she did."
