    basic/stupid question about cross play

    I understand when you buy the PS3 game you get a free download of the PS Vita game.
    But won't it hurt the PS Vita games sales? Wouldn't it be better to sell the PS Vita game for maybe 50$ (instead of the 60$ for a PS3 game) and still score some Vita sales?

    Sony gets the money either way but your way they get less of it.
    Valve do the same with their games buy it for Mac and you get PC version and vice versa.

    yes it does hurt sales. its a balancing act, a risk vs reward situtation and sony is desperate
