Depends on the family..Ours usually have a little of everything. Turkey, ham, roast beef ya name it. I wouldn't be mad if I had a turkey dinner once a week lol! But it's the side items that are the best. Stuffing, mash etc.. what do you guys prepare with ur turkey dinner?

Our Chrstmas dinner is usually Turkey, Ham, Stuffing, Mash/Champ (Love Champ, its buttery mashed potatoes with chopped spring onions mixed up in it), Brussel Sprouts and Cranberry Sauce.

by 12:30 my turkey will be done. it's been on the smoker for about 7.5 hours using applewood and occasionally based with butter while I rubbed in a mixed seasoning I put together.

It's just going to be my mother, my grandmother, and I this year, so there is not much to cook. Which is okay, because we don't have to deal with screaming relatives and little kids crying during football.

Yep - that's Christmas for us.

here is an update on my turkey lolz..

everyone got here at 12:30pm ready to eat, the Turkeys needed just 20 more minutes and right now I had 2 21 pound turkeys smoked and they are all gone, not even a gizzard left. I also made a big heaping thing of sour creme mash potatos some people brought pies. lolz two 21 pound turkeys are completely gone along with the mash potatos and I made A LOT.

lolz yea I like the holidays, these same people will be here on christmas. right now I have 10 people snoozing in the living room. You know you have a successful thanksgiving when people are taking a nap after a good meal.
