Most importantly though, both versions play just as well as each other, so we can easily recommend the game to both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners alike. However, on a purely visual level, we'd be inclined to give the PS3 game the nod here if you have the choice.

Interesting, a ps3 game that is slightly better you don't see those too often :P

I've never been into Hitman before but reviews for Absolution have been great and it looks like a lot of fun.
I think ill pick this up sometime down the line

I think that's one of the benefits of being a single console owner, I can just enjoy the game and not worry or bother about that stuff lol

Yep, seems the PS3 version would be the better version to buy.

I went with the 360 version because I got it cheaper, $30aud cheaper in fact, so I'm not too bothered.

Farcry 3 no question in my opinion. Bigger campaign, huge multiplayer and a map maker.

The crowds might be realtime and if you get there early or late might determine how many are waiting? Kind of like Perfect Dark's intro sequences but it might just be wishful thinking.

Must be a reason other than the PS3 not being to cope with that many people. You'd think they'd scale it back to a percent, not scale it back to 2 people lol. I played the PS3 version couple months ago and the section I played was based in a market area with what seemed like 100s of civs, so yeah

If your referring to PC, PS3 and 360 (don't know If its on the Wii U) then surely if your PC can handle it, it would be a no brainier to buy it on there? PC is always my go to platform for Multiplatform. Pure performance without any drawbacks

provided how beautiful this game looks (720p native +FXAA) and the amount of stuff onscreen, such a solid framerate is really amazing

Yep I'm getting Far Cry 3 for sure. I've never been a fan of the Hitman games.

Yep looks like its realtime events and not FMV or scripted so there must be something that triggers or depends on your actions as a hitman.

Yeah I can clear anywhere by pulling your gun out and letting off a few caps, just don't understand why they captured it after doing that though
