http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/di...ution-face-offMost importantly though, both versions play just as well as each other, so we can easily recommend the game to both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners alike. However, on a purely visual level, we'd be inclined to give the PS3 game the nod here if you have the choice.

I'll have to play em on both to decide... sounds like it'll be the PS3 based on their analysis.

Prepare for meltdowns if these next gen console rumors are true. Phase 1: Denial. Phase 2: Mask a lie under "opinion" vs a fact. Phase 3: Bring up the PS3/360 era when it has nothing to do with the subject. Phase 4: Say that the power gap doesn't matter but constantly defend the weaker specs.

Yep, seems the PS3 version would be the better version to buy.
I went with the 360 version because I got it cheaper, $30aud cheaper in fact, so I'm not too bothered.

Are the writers blind?
The Xbox has the proper amount of crowding as does PC.

The crowds might be realtime and if you get there early or late might determine how many are waiting? Kind of like Perfect Dark's intro sequences but it might just be wishful thinking.Last edited by keefy; 11-22-2012 at 15:04.

Must be a reason other than the PS3 not being to cope with that many people. You'd think they'd scale it back to a percent, not scale it back to 2 people lol. I played the PS3 version couple months ago and the section I played was based in a market area with what seemed like 100s of civs, so yeah

provided how beautiful this game looks (720p native +FXAA) and the amount of stuff onscreen, such a solid framerate is really amazing
