Forum Navigation

Forgive me if I've just missed it, but has forum navigation become a lot more difficult since the update?

If I go into a sub forum then want to back up to the main forum, I now need to click the forum tab at the top of the page and start again; where previously I'd have clicked on the relevant hotlink that shows the navigation route I've taken (am I explaining that correctly?).

Less intuitive and mildly annoying now. I know I can use quick navigation but that requires I scroll to the very bottom of the page I'm on and select from a drop down. Again, less intuitive.

Can we fix this, please?

This is a must, for sure. It's most likely a setting that needs to be enabled to see the forum tree at the top. When the update first went live, it was missing from the Liquid Style. Choosing the Fixed Style, it was still there until the database was rebuilt.. then it was gone there too.

It would be much easier to have it like before where you could navigate from within a thread, right now you have to click forum up top and go to the root page

Anto is supposed to be fixing these bugs but I don't know how much progress has been made or which of them was addressed first.

I know F34R and I brought it up multiple times.

I too, find myself often going for the forum tree to navigate back, only to realise its not there.

The staff is purposely not putting the awesome forum tree back because we want to piss everyone off, even though we so badly want the forum tree back as well.

Actually, the forum will be back. It is just a matter of when..

Hello! It used to be that if I were in a thread on, say, the "PS3 Games" forum there was breadcrumb navigation available to get directly back from the thread I was on back to "PS3 Games" forum. Where did that go? Did I miss something, has it been removed? Or just moved somewhere else on the page? I've looked all over, can't seem to find it.

Currently I have to go back to the home page from the thread and then click on "PS3 Games" from there in the main body of the home page. Seems a needless step.

AH, I see that what I wrote above is an already known issue. Thanks to the forum peeps who added my post to this relavant thread, this answers the question. I look forward to the breadcrumb navigation returning.

Put in a side selection menu

So it hides on the side off the forum and when you click on it, it slides out with all sections of the forum

And

When you select a section aka off- topic, it gives you the off topic section link to remain in that section and yet given you the other options as choice to move around the forum
