Ok so going on the advice of fellow PSU peps I bought all the other Assassins Creed before 3. I was ready. Going into this I taught you just play an Assassin of a time period who gets into some deep crap. I was half right. When the Animus pop up I was like wtf? I NEVER knew about this, seriously I didn't. First I was like, ok this is not going to be what I taught. I admit it turned me off a little bit, but as I played more I started to enjoy it. My big thing is how can this game game be out for over 5 years and me not even know about Animus. I mean most reviews I saw never mentioned it. Needless to say it was a nice surprise and I can not wait to beat AC and play the rest.

Ha, that's amazing that you never heard about it. This isn't even a spoiler. You at least should've known about Desmond?

Ok so is every main assassin you vs 6 guys or is it because I didnt do all the investigations? Also in the next ones do the bells stop ringing because it is annoying. The you vs 7 for an "assassination" will prob be the deal breaker.

Glad to see you are enjoying the game, for me it only gets better by the title. I will admit though that with all the bugs in AC3, it's stills good game and a very enjoyable franchise overall.

Yeah, im probably on my own for this one, but i absoloutly hated the first Assassins Creed game. I thought it was boring, the combat was undwewhelming, and i just couldnt really find a reason to like Altair. i think i did about... 10 missions before i put the game down and popped in ACII, which i fell in love with, and didnt put down for 2 weeks. Then i actually got excited for AC: Brotherhood, which i loved even more. Revalations really disappointed me with everything they added and took away, like the wanted posters not being in the game, and having to defend your towers (incredibly frustrating) when your notoriety goes up. Assassins Creed 3 im very much enjoying thus far, however i dont have much time to play any kind of games anymore so i try to balance it between AC3, AC3:Liberation, Ragnarok Odyssey, and MLB 12

I hate AC1. The combat is stupid, the missions are stupid. Ok I am an assassin yet I can not kill my target with out fighting 6 other guys. That 3 move unstoppable combo the guys do are bullshit. Break guard, cut, super cut, punch there goes 3 of my bars and no way to stop it. I really do not want to play any of the other AC because of how frustrating the first one made me.

Like most things, the AC series has evolved over the years and gets better with each one. Especially the fighting mechanics (though some would argue III's made it too easy).
From what I remember of the first one, I couldn't see myself wanting to go back and play it, and I'm a fan of replaying old games over and over. At least give II a shot, I'm sure you'll enjoy it and want to continue with the rest.

I had no intentions of becoming a leader. It is as a warrior how I shall be remembered, but these are hardly numbers worth dying for.

AC1 was a pain to play... But AC2 made up for that and so did
AC3
Would still go back and play the first one, even though it's a freaking painLast edited by claud3; 12-17-2012 at 23:32.

Yeah I really like AC2. I am spliting my game time to much right now tho. Between skyrim for pc, dark souls, and wwe 13 along with AC2. I plan to hold off on a few and get through AC. The story is good so far.
