Fighting game ports are good. You can't expect a dev to make a Vita-only fighter o.o

Yeah I just meant games in general. Tekken would be great on Vita.

Yeah i want more games like i wanted the new Hitman game for the VITA, really i would like all the new games that are coming out for the PS3 to be on the VITA to

If that WAS the case, what' the point of owning both systems? They both need titles that you can't get on the other.

A port is meh, but at least its better than nothing

A good point i didnt think of that, but some games i would want on VITA then PS3 like i want the new Hitman game but i dont want it for ps3

And not everyone has both consoles

Yep, if they went and made DoA exclusive to the Vita we would just end up with less content with the exactly the same gameplay. Anyways this game is DoA5:PLUS, it'll probably include DLC and extra stuff for the Vita. If they went to make DoA just for the Vita we'd end up with a game like Tekken 3DS, which is good and all but doesn't compare to TTT2.

It's better than not developing for it at all, so it's decent that they are bringing these games to Vita via a port and hopefully later make something only for Vita.

Very few games I'd like to see ports on the vita... If the franchise is being used, at least make it a new game. Ass Creed, Uncharted for example.

Yeah, I don't mind seeing existing franchises make their way to the Vita but they have to be new installments.

I don't see what all the fuss about DOA5+ being a port is about hence DOA5+ is Team Ninja's number one franchise. As long as it is a good game that many people will enjoy it shouldn't matter if it's a port or not. The only instance that a port is not a good thing is when it is a port of a bad game and/or a port from an inferior system. Take Spy Hunter for the Vita, it was an already bad game that was ported from the 3DS.

It's not so much that it's a port itself. It's that they are porting games instead of developing exclusive ones. The game will be good, even on the Vita.
