Yeah, closed beta players got the blueprint of that for free as a gift near the end of the closed beta (blue print means unlimited supply)

EVE allows you to create blueprints, i guess its only a matter of time before it gets seen in dust

Were on the way to being a top 100 corp. Checkin the leaderboards were close on both the kills and war points. Probably get in top 100 by mid next week.

Had probably my best day so far today, was going 4 or 5 K/D (I play Ambush almost exclusively) on most games and ended with my best game going 21-3. Only trouble was I ran into some Imperfects a couple of games (and another corp that starts with Q) but still held my own pretty well. I haven't really bothered using anything besides the starting gear, I think I'm doing well enough with it and I'm trying to build up my ISK anyway, i think I'm almost at 8 million.

And my Merc name is Sete Clifton (not my real name, neither is felix) in case anyone sees me ingame.

The match i played withfelix yesterday was my worst. All day i was killin noobs crankin up my k/d then boom. Real players. Terrible way to end the day.

Yeah, I remember that game. I didn't do very good either, I think I went 8-9. We were playing against Zion, and even though we had some of them on our team too, we still got destroyed. I don't think we even got their MCCs shields down.

Played one skirmish. Got wrecked by some super co-ordinated SWAT team. Seriously, I was no1 on my team with a measly 7/11 and the other top guy was 30/1 I don't understand how an entire team can be worse than me.

Anyway, after playing skirmish exclusively for my entire time playing dust, I had one game of ambush. OMG soooo good. Such fast paced action and I came 4th with 9/8, since the respawn timers are 3 secs, no one bothers to revive

Yeah, that's why I pretty much only play Ambush, the games are much shorter and the pace is much faster. You definitely don't have to go far to find where the fight is at.

I definitely try to revive people, but a lot of the time it's too hard because the battle is so concentrated that I'd just end up killing myself and the guy I just revived (again). But if I can get a nice clearing or hide behind an obstacle, I'll go for it. I like reviving people for some reason, it was one of my favorite things to do in Bad Company 2.

Nice, I looked earlier today and we were 113. I noticed our win ratio is pretty good too compared to others around us on the kills leaderboard.

Btw, I've started posting on the official Dust forums. There's some stubborn people there, but most are nice. I think it's important to help get some issues addressed, maybe also spread the PSU corp name a little bit too.

one thing i just learned while at the dust forums. if you are squad leader you can issue orders by holding r2 clicking r3 then pointing at what you want the squad to target.

Yeah, and you get a 20% increase in WP for doing stuff near it.

Man, I just won 5 Promethius dropships as salvage!!! LOL they're about 450K each haha. I also have 10x Eryx dropships from salvage. It's my destiny to become a drop ship pilot (loved it in precursor).

Also, I'm really sorry for not squadding up much. I'm working on a big DUST 514 front page blitz for February so have a lot of writing and graphics to make. As I said before, I'm open for squad invites this weekend.

It'll be cool. The images I'm making are for the flash console on front page (the things that scrolls through different articles with a banner). It's all going to be DUST 514/EVE related muahaha.

I wonder if CCP will ever allow us to donate assets to the corp. That'd be cool.

ALSO! PSU is going to do a DUST 514 podcast sometime in February. Anyone who likes/knows the game and would like to join, send me a PM. Me and podmaster Don will be on of course, then we could use another 2 members. We will be discussing all things DUST. CCP will probably hear it too.

Also guys...This is just the beginning. We are humble now, but my commitment to this project is super long term. I want to try and build a PSU empire in DUST and EVE. It won't happen overnight, but it will happen. Those who are the foundational stones won't be forgotten if we succeed.

whilst we're giving squad leader tips, here's one. find a merc who is diligent on the battlefield (and in your squad) and issue the "Defend" order on him. every war point he earns he gets a bonus to, the squad leader also gets a bonus from the merc's exploits, and whats better, if you are close to the designated merc, you get a points boost too. so the entire squad has the potential for a points boost

also, i'll be on in a bit if anyone is up for a few rounds
