Hi guys, I recently started playing Dust514 beta, and I figured why not join a corp? I've been inactive on the forums for a long time, but I remembered that here on PSU there always seems to be a "clan" for every online game, and the last time I played with some members I had a blast. So I decided to investigate and found you guys. I was thinking about applying to join the corp, but then some questions crossed my mind, would appreciate if you guys could answer.

.Are there any performance prereqs? (kdr,Wp,ISK, etc)

Welcome Mr Hagax! This corporation is all about playing with and getting to know the community who sign up. It's "training time". Later down the line, I'll be organising those who want it into a more hardcore squad who will serve as PSU's planetary defence squad.

I finally got assault rifles operation lvl 5 today. A couple more weapon skills to train and them I'm off to work on my dropsuit. Anyone have a recommendation on doing shields or armor first? I was thinking shields just because they can always recharge, and not many seem to use/carry the repair tool.

Shield costs more up pimp and makes your scan profile higher but has a higher passive recharge rate and has no movement penalty. Armor is cheaper to pimp but slows you down and requires a module to give you 2-5hp/s. Armor repairs even in combat though, shield has a recharge delay that activates after you stop taking damage. If you squad up often with a good logi, armor is good, if not, shields are a better option. I would say front line roles are better suited to shields and backline,like heavies are better suited to armor cause the logis are usually at the backline too.

most of my skill are being capped (by myself) at lvl 4. the last tier isn't all its cracked up to be due to the insane prices on equipment

as for the armor vs shields. im doing both

as well as lowering my scan profile to combat the increase from the shields

as ghost said though. if your with a logistics expert (like he is) then armor is good due to the greater health from modules

as of now, im just about to start levelling my shield boosters to allow 5% extra per level. armor is at level 4, its PG usage is a level 3, weapons at level 4, shields are a bit of a mess, but im working on them atm

next i will go about learning to hack faster

We need a ticker for the new corp name; PSU GHOST SYNDICATE. It's all upper case. A syndicate doesn't fuck around with the lesser lower case letter when branding its name. P S U can only be taken if I disband the PSUCDGS. I was thinking PSUdc (where dc is dot com). or PSUGS. Ideas?
