    Reading the patch notes. The Medic $#@! in me is getting excited! I no longer have to select my nanite injectors from the wheel - I can use them without having to have them selected.

    i have limited use of the logistics class and that is one thing i found annoying. sometimes i'd quick select the repair tool instead of the nanite injectors and stand over someone like a tool

    HUGE patch. Reading the notes and I've very happy on what I'm seeing. Resolution also got increased which is interesting since I thought the game was already 1080p upscaled(?)

    Most of all loading screens and UI are much improved

    Yeah, I was a little disappointed to find out that I had to upgrade Medium dropsuits all the way to lvl5 before I could use Logistic dropsuits. But yes, the gameplay is much smoother indeed!

    indeed, there are somethings that i haven't been able to respec in simply due to the number of 'other' things that go into specializing. Assault rifles for example require 4 or 5 prerequistes for the high end stuff O_O

    i have a little down time atm so i'll digest all that i took in whilst im away. and come back and put things in the direction i want.

    ALSO
    TOP TIP FROM UPRISING!!

    at distance the gelente assault armour looks like a scout armour, if like me you chew through scouts and pay no attention to them its time to change that mentality, when you go one on one ensure what your shooting at is actually a scout. i lost a handful of proto suits to gelente assaults simply because i assumed wrong.

    usually i pay little attention to a scout frame and start thinking ahead. not the case anymore it seems lol

    at almost 200k each, it was not a pleasant experience dying to what i thought was a meager scout frame.

    the new ranges for rifles are really $#@!ty

    the only complaint i have with uprising really, that and its a bit unstable. matches are prematurely being ended and everyone is losing connection to the battle server and returning to hub. a betas a beta though

    but those ranges....it's quite the change.
    i can't shoot anything at range.

    its quite funny seeing people shooting from where they would previously. i even reenacted that matrix scene where neo stops the bullets. a heavy was waiting on the red line and couldn't advance and opened fire on me and i just stood there staring at him
    ranges should be increased across the board, they're way too close atm.

    the only good thing about this build was the isk refund. got 224 million back. gave 150 mil to the corp. we are at over half a billion now

    The game feels more balanced now. I think people are just butthurt that they can't solo as much with an hmg now.

    i can see where they're coming from though. the map sizes are still significant and the ranges and slow movement make the heavy really useless (see my neo comparison above )

    im on the fence about the squad sizes though.

    it seems a bit too big given the map sizes. 6 people moving on an objective is quite the sight to behold. more so now that Orbitals are dropping every minute (which is pretty sweet imo)
    battles are very nitty gritty now

    I fudged up when respeccing and forgot to reinvest in my caldari assault suit and now I'm stuck with basic crap armor. But I got the best dang assault rifle money can buy but with crappy armor I can't put good modules on.
