the only problem i saw with the drailment part is that a name means alot in eve and if your brodcasting that your going to derail people that will put a target on your back and make people less likely to trust somebody that may derail them making it harder to gain blues.

Are they more likely to trust someone who will Kill 'em Quick? hehe

I use em! Logistics can make nice points rezzing and armor repping a downed comrade. You get more for rezzing than you do for killing! I especially love damaged Heavies, I usually make about 100SP from them.

i would also love see more closed off environments though. not closed off indoor, but inside cities and such. i imagine EVE players have home planets with capitals; it would be nice to be contracted to defend city sections and such

CONGRATULATIONS CCP!!

DUST 514 and EVE are now both on the same server, Tranquillity. All characters have been reset, all AUR and reward items have been reset and ready to re-assign to your merc of choice. To celebrate, if you play a game between 10th of January starting from 12:45 GMT to 21st of January 11:00 GMT you will earn a reward of 100,000 skill points for your most skilled merc per active account.

I am e-mailing CCP now to start the process of re-opening the corporation and will send invites when it's back. Mr Fijian and Mr Itachi will be reprising their Director role, which gives them admin ability within the corporation, my 2ICs

wooo, i had 5 or so games today!

i think having ghosties database is kinda like cheating
my merc cost 450 isk and is holding up better than i thought it would.
only guy doing better than me was the only guy doing better than me previously....some guy named 'Bert Errmon" or something similar. this guy is a demon, never fight him alone!

just played 3 matches, easily my best yet. Got 2nd place for the first time and just over all my KD was much better. I was easily able to track player in my sights and aim towards their upper body region. Most people aim for the torso so if you aim for the head you win that one on one stand off even if the other started shooting first.

Is the coorporation up yet?

I've played heaps in Chromosome and have hit my cap each day since the reset. I'm generally not too high in the K/d thing cause I'm healing, repping, rezzing and hacking most of all. I exert my power from behind the scenes.

Alright so my BIGGEST complaint about dust has got to be this 'infinite loading' on the market place. No matter what I select, I have to wait an hour before it shows anything. Really frustrating!

Also I was wondering, how does one perform a precision strike?

I'm downloading the beta now, you can get in without PS+ but you need the buy the mercenary pack (with beta access). It costs a little bit of money, but you get some in game stuff for it, and I feel like it's worth supporting CCP enough to warrant it (at least for me).

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to finally getting into Dust. Assuming I stick with it, I'd definitely be interested in joining the PSU Corp if you guys will have me. I'm planning on either being a sniper or mid range with healing abilities (assuming that's possible).

You need to be squad leader. After your squad earns X amount of WP, you get a message saying its available, you then access it by pressing right on the D-pad IIRC and select off-field support (or something like that).
