I swear there's a similar thread like this somewhere.

Anyway, my first console was an Amiga. 500, I think it was. Shared it with my older brother

Commodore 64 if you can call it a console. If not then a Sega Game Gear.

I remeber it like it was yesterday. Walked in saw this Nintendo Entertainment system, and played Super Mario for the first time. I got hooked and begged my mom and dad to get us one. That's where it started. It blew my mind at the time.

Sega Genesis. Played it at my cousins when I was a youngin and ending up getting one for Xmas later that year.

    Haven't looked back since.

The 8-bit Nintendo. My brother bought it with his allowance he saved up. That was a magical time in my life.

Nintendo 64. It defined my child-hood. If not, the best part of my life was my child-hood with that thing. Life's not as fun now.

I will never again in my life have that initial feeling of freedom in a video game like the first time I played Mario 64.....I feel bad for anyone that never experienced that jump from 2d gaming into the 3d realm.

However N64 games have age horribly over the years...Nintendo needs to remaster all the best N64 games in HD for Wii U eshop!

    First Console was the NES
First Computer/Game system in general was a Commodor 64
PCs are very much like Air Conditioners.
They both become utterly useless once you start to open up Windows....

That was the original Nintendo, not the SNES.
