The Playstation 3 is a well-built console but like all new generation consoles, it has issues with heat. This is because all new generation consoles are super computers. The components generate amazing graphics and powerful processing but generate a lot of heat.The heat generated by these two parts with no heat sink will end up melting the connections on the motherboard. Therefore, after some time the connections between the GPU, CPU and motherboard will be lost.
