Square Enix teases 'secret title' reveal next week

Website hints at a new entry in the Star Ocean series

Square Enix has launched a website featuring a countdown timer teasing a "secret title" set to be revealed next week.

All will be revealed next Wednesday UK time - in four days, 16 hours, 52 minutes and 25 seconds at the time of writing, to be precise. The website's homepage (pictured) points to a sci-fi theme for the project, and the word 'Star' suggests a new entry in the Star Ocean series.
Last month the publisher filed a trademark application for a project called All The Bravest.

They shouldn't, but if it generates hype you can bet Square Enix will do it. They've already teased an iOS port with The World Ends with You.

I've never played a Star Ocean game either. The teaser is too blatant to conclude.

They going to have to do better this time around I played Star Ocean the Last Hope International.

My god was it the worst JRPG I ever touched yes the voice acting alone will make you quit that game.

Although I'll admit it had a great battle system, and even the worlds were great, but just just damn the voice acting even for Japanese language was so horrendous.

You've got to stop defending their actions so blindly, Wrath. There are games in the pipeline people are actually expecting, and that's not only Versus. Pooling their resources elsewhere is not the optimal solution to keep their customers happy at the time being.

Actually, Star Ocean games are developed by tri-Ace. So this shouldn't affect development on Square Enix's projects.
