Medieval RPG planned for 2014/15 releasehttp://www.computerandvideogames.com...-ex-mafia-dev/Ex-Mafia designer Daneil Vavra has shown off the 'next-gen' technology of his new game, due for release in 2014/15.
The medieval RPG is in development at Vavra's new studio Warhorse and utilises a modified version of CryEngine 3, Eurogamer Czech reports (via Eurogamer). Little else is known about the title, though considering its preojected release window and impressive tech, it could well end up on Sony and Microsoft's next consoles.

Seen this yesterday and thought Zelda and elders scroll
But they are a given... So this is still a tech demo and no solids evidence to change that
Just wonder when and how long will it be before this is actually a game

Wow, very eye catching!
I agree with claud3 that it screams Elder Scrolls.
8 years and counting!

CE3 has a lot of 'next gen' effects so Crytek keep referring to it as a next gen ready engine. Then again, it depends what you call Next-Gen.

Well
With this demo and a few others trying make third party game companies use their engines... But most third parties will make their own engines
So all thus next gen tech demos, could be all it is demos to should whats possible

It does look very good, but I don't think it looks next-generation-hardware good. It has certain excellent elements, such as the flowery field and the really sexy shadows. But it doesn't seem to have that polish to it. I guess that's due to it being in development, so whatever. Personally I can't wait to see what next-generation hardware can push out. Though I'm hoping developers will eventually focus more on AI and physic rather than graphics.

Lmao,
But that's true F34R not many do and they do modify and acquire their engines...
So who ever gets an engine like this, then they will produce a quality game one hopes...
This will make a great next gen engine competition to evolve and push the limits. Just like this current gen aka Fox engine

I guess I'm the only one that wasn't impressed. It doesn't help that they were recording the demonstration off-screen so everything ends up being a little too bright.

Sony trolled MS. PS4 fans didn't do it. We just laughed at MS and anyone getting mad. $399 FTW!
