Looks like a linear, scripted Uncharted wannabe. This isn't what I want in a Tomb Raider game.

I kind of agree. Uncharted is an amazing game, but I really enjoy the original semi open world Tomb Raider games. I thought I remember reading that this game will also be semi open world as well, with linear areas like Uncharted. I have very high hopes for this game.

I'm going in to the Tomb Raider reboot with Uncharted way in the back of my head.
Sometimes you just have to enjoy a game for what it is. Whether it's a rip off or a rehash.

I hope the voice actress can pull off a transition towards a true-to-form Lara, assuming we see that in this game. As of now I have a hard time feeling that strong-willed tough girl developing when I hear her performance, but maybe that's just me.

I think it looks great. Although really similar to Uncharted 1 (stuck on island and tons of bad guys wanting to kill you). Still, I have high hopes.

Looks pretty good to be honest.
All the The other games have seemed to focus on her physique, butt, boobs, cute face etc but this version she seems more like a scared young girl out of her depth and has to overcome her fears and doubts and this I think will make her into soemthing different than a pretty hot babe doing backflips like previous games.
This game Lara Croft is a character rather than a caricature of past games.

Seems some of you still dont quite "get" what the game is, either way everytime I watch the trailer I get more and more excited. Finally a Tomb Raider that I'm excited for.

Yeah very similar to far Cry and i also got quite disappointed with the graphics shown in the video.
