Have you ever bought a Final Fantasy game? Would you consider yourself a fan?

Never bought but I did borrow VII off a friend and I couldn't get into it, the music was cheesey and the whole taking turns to attack bored me.

Same here. Playing 7 and Tactics on my Vita over the past few months has reminded me how awesome these games once were. I know a lot of people enjoyed 13 that's cool, but like you, I found that universe rather borng

I have owned VII, VIII, X and XIII.

Out of those I've only finished 8. I found 13 boring, couldn't get into 7 (I know, I know), not sure why I didn't finish 10 though because I remember enjoying it. Maybe if the HD remake ever releases I'll buy it.

I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I loved 8!

I have seen people playing it and got me really interested however i dont play final fantasy games. They are interesting but too complicated for me.

Yeah owned and played almost all of them cept for handhelds. I stop bealiving in the "final fantasy" after 6 and realized they just slap the name on to sell more.

IMO X was when it ended. Although the peak for me was IV - VIII.

I wrote about my experience on the Final Fantasy Discussion Thread. I own Final Fantasy Dawn of Souls I&II, Final Fantasy III DS, Final Fantasy IV, V, VI for the GBA. Final Fantasy VII, VIII, IX for PS1. Final Fantasy X, X-2, and XII. And finally, Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2; can't wait for Lighting Returns.

For me i bought VII, XIII, and XIII-2. I enjoyed all thoroughly. I also beat X so I would say yes. Overall my experience has been great.

Yes I've bought many of the titles but am I fan? Not any more.. FFX is when I felt like the series died. watched a friend of mine play XI once it looked pretty cool though. Still have hope for a Realm Reborn and VsXIII

Not one final fantasy game has let me down. My favorite was 12, I loved the gambit system.

I've only have ever bought and owned one FF game, it was one on the Gameboy sp. I'm slacking it ;(. I'm sure kingdom hearts doesn't count
