And here we go again:
There has been a lot of confusion over the names of the next generation consoles, tentatively XBox Next and PS4. In the hopes of lessening some of this confusion, we present the SemiAccurate guide to the next generation console names.
First up is the XBox Next, and that project name is Kryptos, Oban is the name of the developer test system chip. As we exclusively brought you news of the tape out, andlater production. Last we heard, Oban was still scheduled for mass production wafers before the end of 2012, but the problems we outlined could delay that.
The name of the PS4 project is Thebes. As you might have guessed, other than it beingan AMD CPU and GPU, we don’t have much more specific details. It is said to be a 28nm part, likely fabbed at Global Foundries or IBM for the first run, and out after Oban. That would most likely be the spring of 2014, but it could be fall of that year too.S|A

I don't care for all this BS that the "media" tells us. All we have to do is wait for an official announcement. ANYTHING ELSE is nothing but a waste of your precious time.
All we can do for now is hope that Sony and Microsoft (but especially Sony... ;D lol sorry I'm neutral for the most part, but I just like Playstation more than Xbox - that's all; although my brother's got an Xbox360 and I'm kinda jealous because he played the Gears Of War and Halo franchise - and I didn't
) build very powerful machines. Price: 450-600 dollars/Euros. I don't think it's a mistake to make the machine more powerful and thus: more expensive. I think 600 dollars/Euros is the maximum, but it's OK. I'd gladly pay 150 Euros more for a console that's 25% more powerful than a console that costs 400 Euros.
And yeees, I know that not everyone can afford a console that expensive. But these people will have to wait 1-3 years until the price has dropped. That's it. I'll wait too cause there's at least 15-20 games I have to play in the next 12 months, so I'll be entertained. I'll wait for the first upgraded version of either console, cause I'm sure that there will be at least some sort of problem. I'd say heat.
Let's wait until E3. This one is gonna be huge.
Kratos throws a grenade. Grenade kills 50 undead soldiers. Then the grenade explodes.
