After reading the title, I thought I had a chance of getting a better demo for entertainment but...

What do you mean? the demo isn't region locked. All you need to do is create a Japanese account and download it, i've never seen a region locked demo via the PSN

I went to my jap account and downloaded it but when i tryied to play it, it said it wouldnt play cause its restricted to another region or something to that effect

Btw did you even download the demo to be saying that im wrong or are you merely assuming your right?

This demo is in fact the first to be region locked. It has been confirmed numerous times by now.

PlayStation 3 owners in North America and Europe have always been able to try out titles very early with Japan demos and a little trickery, but that won't be possible with Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. As it turns out, the title will be region locked, so unless you want to import a PS3 from Japan, you're out of luck.

The decision is the first of its kind, and could mark the onset of a trend going forward -- or it could be that Konami wants to release the demo for both 360 and PS3 at the same time in the West (Revengeance has the unusual distinction of being 360 only here, but not in Japan).

Because it doesn't matter how you spin it, this demo is region locked and gets peoples' hopes up for nothing (unless of course they have a Japanese PS3).

The file size is supposed to be 3.5GB. That's pretty large for a demo. @_@

Is it one really long level or 2-3 of them in the Japanese version?

Lots of CG and there's about 3 areas you can go through with a final boss at the end
